The Media Outlet of One People's Project

Next on the White Power Chopping Block: Republic of Florida’s Jorden Jereb

The story is that Jereb was just starving for attention when he claimed that Nikolas Cruz was a part of his group. He got it.

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Although Jordan Jereb, the head of the Tallahassee chapter of the Republic of Florida (ROF), said that his claims that Parkland, FL shooter Nikolas Cruz trained with his neo-Fascist group, was an attempt to “troll” media outlets with misinformation, police found enough probable cause to search his mother’s home where he lived and arrest him today.

According to news reports, the FBI is searched the home on Park View Drive in the Piney-Z neighborhood earlier this morning in connection with those false claims he made about ties between his paramilitary group and the alleged Parkland school shooter. By about 1:30, a half-dozen local, state and federal law enforcement officers removed several bagged items of evidence from the house, including what appeared to be a computer tower wrapped in plastic. Minutes later, Jereb himself was led from the home in handcuffs.  “I didn’t do anything wrong,” he said according to sources. “I’m a good person.”

Jereb, who has produced videos calling for political violence, and declared that he expected a civil war in the United States within five years, told the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) that Cruz, who killed 17 persons during a Feb. 14 shooting spree Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, participated in one or more ROF training exercises in the Tallahassee area, where Jereb is based, carpooling with other ROF members from South Florida. Days later he walked back the claims, first saying he confused them with other ROF associates named Nicholas, and then reportedly saying on Gab that he was under scrutiny because of the “prank”.

While reports were that authorities found no connection between Cruz and extremist groups, Cruz reportedly did espouse racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic views on an Instagram chat and when he engaged in the tragic shooting last month, had swastikas painted on his rifle’s ammunition magazines.

Charges have not been made public at press time.
