Next on the White Power Chopping Block: Nate Hardisty

Now this is a blast from the past! Nathan Hardisty used to roll with a group of boneheads that was rather coy about being boneheads. Today he has himself a bank robbery charge.

WARWICK, RI – A onetime member of a neo-fascist crew that was around briefly several years ago is facing prison time after his arrest for bank robbery.

According to news reports, Nathan Hardisty, 33, no known address, was arrested in the woods off of the Rocky Point Walking Trail by Warwick Police. He was turned over to Narragansett Police who obtained an arrest warrant for him for robbing the Washington Trust Bank there Friday afternoon.

Hardisty was at one time a member of the Ocean State Nationalists (OSN), a crew based in Warwick that while within the circles of white supremacists and neo-Nazis never was a strong unit and eventually faded from the public eye. OSN had a MySpace page that now only shows a few pictures of them picking up trash, but A YouTube channel maintained by someone associated with OSN features Hardisty in several videos dating back to 2011, including one where he is prank calling someone with a sexual fetish, at the end calling him a “fucking sicko”.

Hardisty maintained ties with more libertarian circles, and was in the news in 2011 when he protested his firing from a local Walgreen’s for having tattoos. A tattoo artist himself, some of his tattoos have reportedly been of a swastika, SS lightning bolts, runes and other symbols associated with neo-Nazis.  Hartisty maintained  his own YouTube channel where there are videos performing as well as two documenting his interaction with Warwick police two years ago who stopped him for carrying a television.
