Watch out! Scott Norman Rosenthal is ‘blowing the whistle’ on antifascists and trans people!

We have some history with this character. Some good but sadly a lot bad. And he wants to be bad for everyone else too. We tried to deal with this in other ways, but he is becoming way too much of a concern.

Former left wing activist Scott Norman Rosenthal has been on a crusade to expose antifa sympathizers and trans people.

In 2020, Scott joined the backlash against the George Floyd Uprising. He refused to understand the anger that people were feeling at watching black people being brutally murdered by police and tried to make the uprising about ‘looting’. When I tried to explain to him that most businesses were insured and that people’s lives were more important than property he began accusing me of being violent. He also became obsessed with the blood libel that trans people were “transing” children for political gain. In his political transformation he has reached out to some of the most violent anti-trans bigots and is reposting stuff from white nationalists and voicing support for the proud boys. He is an ardent supporter of Kyle Rittenhouse. He even composed an ode to Rittenhouse. [https://www.blogtalkradio.com/ql_p/2022/04/21/quintessential-listening-poetry-online-radio-presents-scott-norman-rosenthal] Since Aug or Sept of 2020 he has been posting ever more conspiratorial and bigoted content online while insisting that he is some sort of socialist. With socialists like that we hardly even need reactionaries !

Normally I would not pay attention to someone like him. He is just another gnat in the swarm of reactionaries and bigots that infest the internet. The reason i have to answer this is the focused personal attacks he has been lobbing at me and my mostly uninvolved wife. His harassment of me led to him being removed from the Liberty Union email list.

So, what can be done? Scott Norman Rosenthal can be de-platformed, which would limit his ability to spread lies and bigoted views. Don’t allow him into any organizations that care about the rights of people of color. He is hostile toward what he terms “recognized minorities” and resents them because he believes they receive special protection denied him.

If you are in artistic scenes, such as poetry, writing or photography, keep him out of your scene. In particular he frequents online open mics. He has participated in Poetry SuperHighway, Quintessential Listening on blogtalkradio and Barton Summer Poets. If you see him posting hateful content on platforms that forbid it please take the time to report him. He likes to give away stuff – clothing and food but be very wary of dealing with him. It’s probably not worth the hassle you might get dealing with him.
