Assaults, Stabbings and Brawls – All with Donald Trump’s Praise – At Neo-Fascist MAGA Rally in DC

The day was marked by the who’s who of fascist scum that came out – even Donald Trump himself – and them complaining about antifa kicking their asses.

WASHINGTON, DC – Since Joe Biden was projected to be the next President of the United States, Donald Trump has only made three public appearances. One was on Veteran’s Day at a ceremony for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in DC, another for a rambling press conference about the Covid vaccine, and the third was on Saturday as his caravan drove through the adoring fans attending a pro-Trump rally on Freedom Plaza that brought out scores of neo-fascists that throughout the day attacked counter-protesters who fought back against them, resulting in three persons being stabbed reportedly by members of the Proud Boys.

It was an event heavily promoted by the neo-Fascist Proud Boys who used video featuring the Mannerbund Anthem on the Telegram account of its leaders, Brien James, who was also the founder of several neo-Nazi groups, including the Vinlander Social Club as well as the American Guard. James, the American Guard and the Proud Boys came out in large numbers and was the focus of the fighting later on Saturday evening with protesters and media. On his Telegram account, James romanticized the turnout, posting, “Yesterday we took our rightful place amongst our countrymen. As leaders and defenders. We were universally accepted and treated as such… and it was one of the best days of my life.”

Another Proud Boys Telegram account, Proud Boys Uncensored, took away any pretense that the group was against any form for White supremacy or racism with a post reading, “The pendulum is swinging back and the day of the rope is coming for every single violent marxist (sic) in this nation,” using a reference from the Turner Diaries, a book written by William L. Pierce, founder of the neo-Nazi National Alliance that is often been seen as a precursor to fascist violence. Todd M. Clark, of Cheshire County, New Hampshire, who is also the New Hampshire Proud Boy Chapter President, reportedly operates the Proud Boys Uncensored account.

The rally was called the “Million MAGA March” which actually brought out thousands of Trump supporters who said they would not accept the results of the presidential election and wanted to hold an event in support of Trump. Over the course of two days however, the focus was more on engaging in violence with anyone they considered Black Live Matter and antifa. They began their time here on Friday by taking down any signs supporting Black Lives Matter on Black Lives Matter Plaza, including those on the fence around Lafayette Park in front of the White House that included pictures in memoriam of those murdered by police.

As the day went on, a sizable number of neo-fascists began to be seen in numbers mirroring the tragic 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville. In fact “Unite the Right” rally organizer, Jason Kessler was a participant in Saturday’s rally, being pictured with longer hair and a beard, not too far from ACT! For America’s Scott Presler as he spoke to people. Both Patrick Casey of the now disbanded American Identarian Movement (AmIM) and Nick Fuentes, the self-styled leader of the anti-Semitic Groypers, spoke, as did Vincent James from Red Elephants.

There were a lot of scuffles during the day with police allowing them to continue with eventual attempts to break up the sides. According to CNN, 20 arrests were made and two officers were injured. The evening saw one of the bigger scuffles as Proud Boys marched to attack a smaller group of protesters and others on the street. At some point at least three people were stabbed, their current conditions unknown. Proud Boy Leader Henry “Enrique” Tarrio is seen on video bragging about stealing a radio from one of the protesters. In the tweet, Donald Trump blamed the attacks from the Proud Boys on what he called “antifa scum”.

On Dec. 14, Electors will meet in their respective states to cast their ballots for president and vice president, and on Jan. 6, a joint session of congress will convene to count electoral votes, deciding once and for all who will be president.
