Patriot Prayer is pretty much scuttled but this week it was like the fates wanted sure it was ripped to shreds!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

PORTLAND, OR \u2013 A neo-fascist with a lengthy and violent criminal record, who participated alongside members of Patriot Prayer and Proud Boys in a 2019 brawl outside a May Day event at a popular cidery, is in Multnomah County Jail after he was arrested Monday and accused of shooting two Portland police officers on Jan. 19. Meanwhile, the owner of the closed cidery where the brawl took place won his lawsuit against Patriot Prayer on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrest<\/a> of Eric Floyd Oelkers, 41, came after a week-long manhunt and, in his first court appearance, he was combative and yelling while the judge read his case. According to news reports, Oelkers opened fire on officers after they responded to a 911 call reporting a man threatening someone with a knife on Jan. 19 in the Sullivan’s Gulch Neighborhood. When the officers attempted to question Oelkers, he reportedly fired seven shots at them. One of the bullets hit an officer in the thigh and shattered his femur, and two more struck the other officer in one of his arms and near his neck, taking off a piece of his ear. Both officers are expected to recover from their injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A worker at the Park Shuttle \u2018n\u2019 Fly, a long-term parking facility near Portland International Airport, told police that the photos of the shooting suspect looked like a man who had been damaging cars and getting into confrontations with staff, occasionally displaying a knife and small handgun. Authorities were able to track him down via surveillance footage and arrested him at a residence in Northeast Portland. Oelkers faces two counts apiece of attempted murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a firearm. Those six felony charges are tied to the shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In court, Oelkers shouted over the judge and accused him of being a traitor and accused the defense attorney of being AI. “This is unconstitutional, you’re using AI and neurotransmitters against American citizens, working with illegal immigrants and antifa,” he said. “Trump’s coming, the military is coming with him!” The judge delayed his case for another week after warning him against further disruptions. He remains in jail with no bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
