The Nationalist Front (NF) plans to hold racist rallies in Shelbyville and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Antifa will also be out. This is what folks should know about the hatemongers in the NF.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ANGRY WHITE MEN<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

High-profile white supremacists will hold their first large-scale post-Charlottesville rallies tomorrow in Shelbyville and Murfreesboro TN.<\/span>\u00a0While some alt-right figureheads \u2014 such as Jason Kessler, Christopher Cantwell, and Andrew Anglin \u2014 are busy fighting costly legal battles, fliers for these \u201cWhite Lives Matter\u201d rallies still advertised a roster of the movement\u2019s most important leaders.<\/p>\n

The event is being put on by the so-called\u00a0Nationalist Front<\/a>, a white nationalist group led by Matt Heimbach, Michael Hill, Dillon Hopper, and Jeff Schoep. Both\u00a0Heimbach, co-founder of the Traditionalist Worker Party, and Hill, the leader of the Neo-Confederate League of the South, were listed as guest speakers for the \u201cUnite the Right\u201d rally in August which\u00a0ended with one dead and scores injured<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dillon Hopper (born Dillon Irizarry) is an ex-Marine who in 2016 became the\u00a0head of Vanguard America<\/a>, the white supremacist group responsible for leaving racist fliers on college campuses across the U.S. The group\u2019s\u00a0official platform<\/a>\u00a0calls for \u201ca mass exodus, isolation, apartheid, segregation and\/or separation\u201d in order to \u201cretain the good order and longevity of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

And Jeff Schoep, \u201ccommander\u201d of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), has identified as a Neo-Nazi since the age of 10 when he supposedly read\u00a0Mein Kampf<\/em>\u00a0for the first time. And in a\u00a02012 interview<\/a>, Schoep\u2019s ex-wife painted a picture of a man who \u201cwanted to fulfill Hitler\u2019s dreams\u201d and acted like a manipulative cult leader.<\/p>\n

The Nationalist Front lays out what it calls its\u00a0\u201cFourteen Points\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 unsurprising since 14 is a number of special significance to Neo-Nazis and white nationalists. According to these points, the Nationalist Front is a group \u201cthat is fighting for the political, social and economic interests of White men and women in North America.\u201d And its members share a goal of a \u201cFederation of White states within the ethno-state, bonded together by blood in the model of the Articles of Confederation.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the leaders of the Nationalist Front, Sacco Vandal of the white supremacist\u00a0War Room<\/em>\u00a0podcast is expected to speak as well. Born Scott C. Wurgler, he and his identical twin brother Matthew\u00a0changed their names<\/a>\u00a0to Sacco and Vanzetti Vandal in 2005. Both are involved in the alt-right movement, but Sacco, the more vocal of the two, is an\u00a0ex-Marine and musician<\/a>\u00a0who often\u00a0espouses pro-rape rhetoric<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event\u2019s biggest advertiser is Brad Griffin, who writes for the blog Occidental Dissent (OD) under the pen name \u201cHunter Wallace.\u201d In\u00a0a post for OD<\/a>, Griffin described the purpose of the event as \u201cprotest[ing] the ongoing problem of refugee resettlement in Middle Tennessee and to draw[ing] attention to the recent Emanuel Samson church shooting in Antioch and the way this explosive story has been buried by the national media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Griffin, who quickly became disillusioned with the Trump administration, also wrote that they intend to protest the removal of Sudan from the President\u2019s travel ban list, the President\u2019s willingness to pass the DREAM Act, his failure to erect a border wall, and his administration\u2019s announcement of a refugee program which Griffin said would result in \u201cdumping 45,000 refugees a year in places like Middle Tennessee.\u201d<\/p>\n

But above everything else, Griffin is intent on making sure these rallies bear as little resemblance to Charlottesville as possible. He cautioned rallygoers against bringing firearms and explicitly ordered them to not bring Swastika flags. \u201cWe desire to hold a peaceful demonstration,\u201d he wrote. As for whether violence erupts between the white nationalists, Antifa counterprotesters, and law enforcement \u2014 only time will tell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
