The One Time the Red Triangle is Used By Antifa: A Statement from Red Triangle CLE

The difference is this group takes the symbol away from Nazis and Donald Trump is using it FOR the Nazis!

Red Triangle CLE

Why do we use a red triangle as our symbol and our name?

In Nazi concentration camps in World War 2, classes of prisoners were identified by patches that they were forced to wear. A red triangle signified a political prisoner – someone who was a social democrat, a socialist, a communist, an anarchist, a rescuer of Jews, or a trade unionist.

We are proud of our politics, and will not back down when confronted with repression. We draw inspiration from all those who stood up & fought against fascism, and from those who continue that fight.

Trump has now used this symbol as a threat to those who oppose him and as a dog-whistle to the white supremacists who support him.

We wear this symbol as a way to say that we will always oppose systems of oppression. We are not afraid and we’re not going away. We will continue our work to build a movement of movements and fight for a better world together.

To help support our efforts you can like & share our page, utilize our event page & show up to support people’s efforts, use our list of organizations in NE Ohio to find a group you can join. To help us create the activist community center that we’re working towards, you can donate through our Facebook page or through our Fundrazr page.

Stay safe and keep up the struggle.

Love & Solidarity,

Red Triangle CLE

25 Years of Hate Having Consequences !

2025 is a milestone year and we want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our supporters who have been in the trenches with us for the past 25 years. A lot of groups and people we have dealt with since we started are long gone: Richard Barrett, Matt Hale, the Minutemen and others! But we are still here fighting the good fight, contending with the new generation's version of hate politics. There are trying times ahead, but we believe our reality would be even worse if we did not come together to do this work. If you value the research and reporting that we have done at One Peopleโ€™s Project and Idavox- and you want to see it continue- we hope you will consider helping to keep our mission fired up.

One People's Project is a 501 (c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible. EIN: 47-2026442
