DeAndre Harris’ attackers in Charlottesville are not getting away with it. Davis is the latest of several that have been snatched up.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Another attendee of the Unite the Right rally on Aug. 12 has been arrested in connection to the attack on DeAndre Harris that day.
According to CBS 19 News, Middleburg, Florida resident Tyler Watkins Davis, 49 was arrested Wednesday by the Clay County, Florida Sheriff’s Office and is charged with malicious wounding. He is currently in the Clay County Jail awaiting extradition to Charlottesville.
Davis becomes the fourth person to face charges stemming from the incident in the Market Street Parking Garage. with Daniel Borden, Alex Ramos and Jacob Goodwin all facing trial later this year. Harris was hospitalized from the incident and his assault became a rallying cry for many outraged at the events in Charlottesville that also resulted in the death of 34 Charlottesville resident Heather Heyer, allegedly when Unite the Right rally participant James Fields when he drove into a crowd of people. He currently is being held and facing first degree murder charges.
In October, League of the South (LOS) members accused Harris of injuring LOS member Harold Ray Crews during an altercation in front of the same parking garage. Originally facing felony charges, the charges were downgraded to misdemeanor charges that do not carry jail time.
