The thing about the White Power conferences that have been going on as of late is the fact that it leans heavily on elitism, and when someone has to pay $400 to attend one of these things, that’s pretty much what you have on your hands. And a day after Cleveland will join several cities in observing National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression, and the Criminalization of a Generation, the paleoconservative Chronicles Magazine will hold the John Randolph Club conference at the Hyatt Regency a few blocks away from the Justice Center, where the Day of Protest will have been held. Needless to say, the attendees are not going to be about the message that Black Lives Matter. However they try to pretty themselves up, the Southern Poverty Law Center tagged this event correctly as one that used to attract the libertarian crowd who have since morphed into one for “racial nationalists” that have “become more politically isolated, and focused in on issues related to race.” Pat Buchanan will be among those who are speaking at this event, and the others…well, let’s run them down:
William S. Lind – The columnist that fancies himself a military strategist and theorist (he never served in the military) who is one of the first people – if not the first – to coin the phrase “cultural Marxism”. He’s also a proponent of monarchism.
Peter Brimelow – the editor of the White supremacist website VDARE who along with Buchanan is pushing for the Republican Party to be exclusively White.
Taki Theodoracopulos – editor of the White supremacist website Takimag who endorsed the fascist Golden Dawn party in his native Greece in an article titled “A fascist takeover of Greece? We should be so lucky”.
Donald J. Devine – Best known as Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management during President Reagan’s first term that cut100,000 government jobs .
Tom Piatak – President of the Rockford Institute, which publishes Chronicles. This guy likes to write about the fake War on Christmas ad nauseum.
Scott P. Richert – Chronicles Executive Editor.
Aaron Wolf – Managing Editor at Chronicles.
Chilton Williamson, Jr. – Editor at Chronicles.
E. Christian Kopff – University of Colorado professor and a Chronicles contributor.
Thomas Pauk – Republican politician out of Texas.
Wayne Allensworth – Chronicles writer and author.
As of now, there hasn’t been any call to oppose the conference, generally because few know it is happening, but that can change.
After the murders of nine African Americans in Charleston, SC by confessed killer Dylann Roof, who was inspired by the White Supremacist organization Council of Conservative Citizens, it has become more of an importance to oppose these types of hate groups that attempt to go under the radar and achieve power in government, academia and business. One of those organizations associated with the CCC has been organizing conferences in the Washington, DC area, and has one planned for this fall.
On Sat. Oct. 31, for the second time this year, the politically connected and benign-sounding White Supremacist group National Policy Institute (NPI), whose efforts, among others, included the promotion of eugenics, campaign to make the Republican Party exclusively white, and to build alliances with White Supremacists and Fascists in Europe, is going to hold a conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
In February, during the week that the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was taking place, NPI held a conference which brought out a number of people who were in town to attend CPAC. In 2014, NPI held a similar conference inside the resort that CPAC was being held. Later that year in October, NPI attempted to hold a conference in Budapest, Hungary, but it resulted in police shutting the event down and detaining it’s head, Richard B. Spencer who is not allowed to return to much of Europe for the next three years as a result.
Spencer has a close working relationship with Jared Taylor, the publisher of American Renaissance who once served on its board and was the spokesperson for the CCC in the wake of the Charleston shooting. Spencer has spoken at conferences sponsored by American Renaissance and Taylor has similarly been a speaker at NPI events.
In addition to Spencer himself, among those scheduled to speak are:
Ronan Bernard – French writer and member of Génération Identitaire, the youth wing of the fascist Bloc Identitaire. Founded in 2003 they promote what they consider to be French heritage (which of course means exclusively white), and opposes inter-racial marriage. In 2006, the group was accused of distributing pork-laden “identity soups” to homeless people in Nice, Paris, and other European capitals with the express purpose of excluding Jews and Muslims. Their slogan is “Ni keffieh, ni kippa”.(“Neither [Palestinian] keffieh, nor yarmulke”)
Guillaume Faye – Another French writer and journalist known for his anti-Muslim extremism. He was a onetime members of the nationalist think-tank GRECE (“Research and Study Group for European Civilization”), whose founder Alain de Benoist spoke at the NPI conference in DC in 2013.
Kevin MacDonald – Psychology professor at California State University, Long Beach and board member of the white supremacist Charles Martel Society, Director of the American Freedom Party. MacDonald is known for his rabid antisemitism and racism. Referred to Anders Brevik, the mass shooter of 77 persons including children at a left-wing camp in Oslo, Norway as a “serious political thinker with a great many insights and some good practical ideas on strategy.”
Jack Donovan – A writer best known for his contributions to White Supremacist and Men Rights blogs and websites. Although a gay man he has written a number of articles attacking the gay community, and while he says he is not a White Nationalist, he supports them, saying. “They are not all equally right about everything, but I am sympathetic to many of their general aims.”
Keith Preston – A phony anarchist from Richmond, Virginia that promotes fascism under the guise of anarchism.
R.N. Taylor – Self-described “White Sepratist” Folk musician best known for his band Changes, which is known for its Nazi imagery and fascist symbols on stage. Taylor has also worked with members of the neo-fascist band Death in June. A one time member of the violent right wing paramilitary group of the 1950s and 1960s the Minutemen, he has boasted of taking part in attacks against the homes of African-American families, as well as hanging African-Americans in effigy from lampposts in Chicago during the late 1960s.
Michael Hill – Neo-Confederate leader of the White supremacist secession group League of the South who recently tweeted that “If American Negroes don’t like White Privilege, they should avoid it by going back to Mother Africa.” and once opined that “[T]he evil genie of universal ‘human rights,’ once loosed from its bottle, can never be restrained because rights for women, racial and ethnic minorities, homosexuals, pedophiles, etc., can be manufactured easily.”LOS member Michael Peroutka serves on the County Council of Anne Arundel County, MD.
While this would be the third time NPI has used the National Press Club as a venue, the issue of such a group having a conference there should still be a concern for them. The Press Club needs to know of that concern!

You would think that after a while when a hotel has caught some hell for keeping itself open to neo-Nazi and White supremacist conferences it would knock the shit off, but here we are again at the Capitol Skyline Hotel, only blocks away from the U.S. Capitol, and they are the venue for yet another get-together put on by the American Free Press! This time it’s to pay tribute to the anti-Semitic ex-congressman and ex-con Jim Trafficant, who died last year at the age of 77. No doubt they are also going to make this a tribute to AFP’s founder Willis Carto, who died Oct. 26 at 89. Participating in this event will be Paul Topete, the lead singer of the Allentown, Pa. Band Poker Face, who once told us that only 70,000 Jews died in the Holocaust. That’s the caliber of stupid we are dealing with here, and its that caliber that the Capitol Skyline Hotel has been particularly fond of for years now.
Wherever you are in the country, look out for these anti-refugee rallies popping up. We have come across a number of them that are going to be attended by neo-Nazis who found yet another issue to latch onto to advance themselves. The Keystone State “Skinheads” are planning to be front and center at rallies here in Pennsylvania, so we expect the hatemongers in other parts of the country to follow suit. In Pa, they work with the militia crowd and they hide behind their banner, which on Facebook is NEPA Patriots. In fact, they are using the same overpass they have been using for about a year and a half when they come out to rally, hoping they can unfurl banners over I-81 for motorists to see. Again, this is one of many anti-refugee rallies happening this weekend and maybe for the next few weeks, and we expect the hatemongers in other parts of the country to do the same as KSS.
Donald Trump is the only presidential candidate that has ever generated this – a rally against him before he even gets the job, let alone the nomination. It should be expected however. He has made the hatemongering and thuggery we have spent the past 70 years beating back fashionable again, and people aren’t going to put up with it. On Dec. 20 a coalition of groups plan to be at Trump Tower in NYC at 2 PM to let him know. “The danger is not only with Trump, the event’s Facebook page announcement notes. “Other politicians are using Trump as a stalking horse. They can condemn Trump for calling for a ban on allowing all Muslims into the country, while at the same time advocating with greater urgency their own proposals to ban Syrian refugees and proposals that amount to expanding profiling, surveillance and repression.”
Over the past few weeks, Trump’s rallies have been punctuated with counter-demonstrations and disruptions, such as the one in Raleigh that shut his rally down after 45 minutes. It has also seen Trump supporters attacking those protesters with Trump cheering them on, not to mention the occasional Nazi salute, as what just recently happened at a rally in Las Vegas this week. “We salute the dozens of brave youth, migrant and anti-racist activists who braved terrifying punches, hair-pulling and racial slurs as they stood up to Trump’s fanatical supporters,” said Sara Flounders of the International Action Center, the main group putting on the Dec. 20 rally. “The righteous disruption of Trump’s North Carolina rally was the first real challenge that this racist candidate can’t ignore or explain away with his insulting lies or violent security beatdowns.”
And of course, the opposition plans to come out and do their thing too. Local NYC anti-immigration crackpot Joanna Marzullo is trying to mobilize her crew New Yorkers for Immigration Control and Enforcement (NY ICE) to oppose those that are coming out against Trump. She is not a big fan of Trump, although she initially supported him, because she sees him as more of a grandstander than anything. But despite that, she will be out because it’s the best chance her anti-immigration crowd has. “If the corrupt Media, of which Trump has been a part of for many years, wants to focus on him, then we can be there to propel our Issue, and that’s what I intend to do,” she wrote in an email. “Trump has made speeches about our Movement, but he certainly did NOT invent it. Furthermore, I do NOT hold it against anyone in our Movement if they are a Trump supporter. I was a fervent one myself for a while!”
The thing about her “movement” however, is that despite declaring she is an Hispanic-American, she has no problems working with neo-Nazis. It was at one of her rallies that we met Ron “Tremley” Sheehy, the neo-Nazi internet troll that people see online and at White Power rallies from time to time. And yes, she has been called out for this. We’re not sure if she cares though. So she will make Sunday even more interesting than it already will be.

A coalition of student, Muslim, antiwar, immigrant and anti-racist groups are having a demonstration Sunday to oppose the racism being promoted 24/7 by his campaign and the media. It will start at Trump Tower and march to New York’s CNN headquarters.
“Our outrage over the racism that is polluting the media must be galvanized into mass mobilization so that the world can see that progressive people will not tolerate racism,” said Larry Holmes of the Peoples Power Assemblies. “We will not allow Paris, or San Bernadino to be used as an excuse for racism and repression.”
“We can no longer dismiss Donald Trump as little more than a reality show performer parading as a candidate, who no one need take seriously,” Holmes said. “And even though Trump is a candidate, the election campaign is merely a pretext for his real mission.”
“Trump is providing an invaluable service to the 1%. At a time when a spiraling global economic crises is pauperizing those who until recently thought of themselves as middle class, Trump is to testing how far the powers that be can go in redirecting growing anger and fear away from Wall St., and against Muslims, Immigrants, and Black and Brown people.”
Moreover, Trump is helping to lay the basis for an intensification of the war against people of color. That war includes, but is in no sense limited to, racial profiling, murder and brutality at the hand of the police, even greater mass deportations, mass incarceration, war and occupation.
The danger is not only with Trump. Other politicians are using Trump as a stalking horse. They can condemn Trump for calling for a ban on allowing all Muslims into the country, while at the same time advocating with greater urgency their own proposals to ban Syrian refugees and proposals that amount to expanding profiling, surveillance and repression.
“People must be reminded that Hitler was elected,” said Chris Silvera, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 808. “He didn’t come into power in an overthrow of the government. The one percent creates an environment to justify all the money drying up. Then they get people to blame everyone except them. That’s what makes Trump so dangerous now,” Silvera said.

“Since the corporate media seems capable only of acting as a giant megaphone for Trump’s racist vitriol, it has fallen on the people to seriously oppose him and his fascist rallies, which encourage acts of terror against oppressed people,” Flounders said.
“New York is well acquainted with Trump’s racism, going back to 1989 when he financed a racist media campaign to reinstate the death penalty and execute the ‘Central Park Five.’ The five youths after years in prison were proven innocent,” Flounders said. “This demonstration will reclaim New York as a No-Trump Zone, with zero tolerance for fascism, bigotry and racism of any kind.”
“Whenever fascism rears its ugly head, it is the duty of all progressive forces to unite in solidarity and struggle against it,” Flounders said.

It seems Pennsylvania’s anti-immigrant wing of the militia movement is trying to keep things on the down low when it comes to organizing public events, especially surrounding the activism against the Syrian refugees. Given the fact that they keep bringing neo-Nazi groups like the Keystone State “Skinheads” with them, not to mention the overwhelming opposition they see when they come out, we can understand why. Problem for them is the down low will not be afforded them when they come out this Saturday to the Berks County Courthouse. The event is called “Americans First: End Sharia Law in the USA” and John Rentschler, a Republican committeeman from Berks County, PA is pushing this hard among his people. And just like the other times, his hurdle is to convince people to not worry about those who would call them out as the bigoted fascists they are, writing in one post, “If you can’t bring yourself to stand up to the fear of offending someone or fear of name calling you will never break the bonds of tyranny and you are already a slave.” Thing is, the Facebook page for this event is secret so no outsiders can see it, so even he is afraid of what will go down. As well he should. When Rentschler & Co. came out to protest a church welcoming refugees in Lancaster last month, 200 persons came out to oppose his crew of 40, a number one of his participants called “pathetic”. In other words, people have made it clear they are not going to let this crowd move forward, and they are planning to come out to remind them once again. So no, Johnny can’t have his rally in secret.
Here they go again. National Policy Institute (NPI) is having another conference. The White supremacist organization has been holding at two per year as of late, and one of them is always during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) so they can recruit people from that event into their ranks. Just like the upcoming American Renaissance (AmRen) conference, organizers see what Donald Trump is stirring up as a boon to them and they are going to take full advantage of it. This one will happen on the evening of March 5, right after CPAC concludes and attendees begin hanging out in DC for the weekend. As their official announcement of their event reads:
“Donald Trump has disrupted business as usual . . . he’s uncovered the gulf separating the Republican Party from the people who vote for it . . . he’s defeated the billionaire donors by being one himself . . . he’s taken celebrity culture and turned it into nationalism . . . he’s the candidate from the heartland and the candidate from the Internet . . .
Most of all, Trump has—perhaps unknowingly, perhaps instinctively—raised the specter of identity politics.”
NPI’s last conference was at one of the favorite haunts in Washington, DC, the National Press Club, on Halloween. This one will be at the other one, the Ronald Reagan Building. Two of the speakers from Halloween, NPI Executive Director Dick Spencer and anti-Semitic college professor Kevin MacDonald along with pretend comedian Paul Ramsey (aka Ramzpaul) will be the three stooges speaking. And you can expect opposition just as there always is at an NPI event.
The National Socialist Movement (NSM) has been a curious bunch in recent years. It’s as if they are being tapped by other hate groups to distract from whatever event they are holding with an event of their own the same day. Two years in a row, the NSM held their conference and rally in Chattanooga, TN and Dayton, OH respectively on the same day the American Renaissance Conference was held. This year, in the wake of the announcement that a neo-Nazi rally will be held at Stone Mountain, GA on April 23, here they come again, announcing their annual conference and rally on the same day 85 miles away in Rome, GA! They have also announced an after-party that evening at the Georgia Peach in Temple, GA, a place known for its racist message boards and for hosting events like Hammerfest back in the day. Now is this really an attempt to divide opposition, we don’t know. A few posts on Stormfront suggest their fellow boneheads aren’t happy about it since it means it also draws people away from the Stone Mountain event. But regardless, expect the usual corniness the NSM comes with when they come out this year with their annual circus act.
In the past year since the last American Renaissance conference, its editor Jared Taylor has been somewhat busy. He became the spokesperson for the Council of Conservative Citizens in the wake of the Dylann Roof shooting, and he has been championing the presidential campaign Donald Trump in robocalls and articles on his website. He has also been using Trump’s candidacy as a rallying point for his fellow White supremacists, writing recently that he “may be the last hope for a president who would be good for White people.” So he is seriously feeling his oats as he promotes the 2016 American Renaissance Conference to be held once again at the Montgomery Bell Park Inn in Dickson, TN on May 20-22, 2016. In the announcement he writes:
“Donald Trump says what millions of Americans have thought for years — and is much too popular to be silenced. Ann Coulter’s Adios, America! sounds the alarm against Third-World immigration — and is a huge best-seller. An Alt Right of young, cocky pro-whites terrifies liberals and conservatives alike. And a Muslim invasion is giving new life to the European ‘extreme right.’ Are whites finally waking up? Are we reaching critical mass? Come join activists and leaders from Europe, America, and South Africa for a celebration of our world brotherhood of Europeans.”
But there’s a reason why he is hiding in the woods of Tennessee again this year: It’s as far away from those that would shut him down if they get the chance. The biggest fear of any AmRen attendee is those that oppose them and what they would do if they were proactive against their efforts. It has shut down their conferences two years in a row, caused a Council of Conservative Citizens conference in Nashville proper to get shut down only a few months after AmRen took place, and they are so afraid of the repercussions that they have even gone to other White supremacist conferences wearing Groucho masks so they wouldn’t be identified! In year’s past, including last year there was an anti-fascist conference held to counter the AmRen conference and it remains to be seen if such an event will be held this year. The Montgomery Bell Park is a State Park and its facilities are open to the public, so Jared Taylor & Co. cannot make anyone leave. So we will keep you posted of any events being planned around opposing this year’s conference.
A call from Antifa in Sacramento has been put out to oppose a rally being put on by Matthew Heimbach’s so-called “Traditional Workers Party” (TWP), the latest in a series of organizations he has come up with over the past two years. They are planning to march on California’s capital to reclaim the streets or whatever, and we all know how well it turns out for the WP crowd when they try to do such things. They know they got the attention of Antifa, and are boasting about how they can’t wait to mix it up with them. Thing is, TWP is not all that forthcoming, not even to its supporters, about its plans. We are used to them sneaking around like this, mostly to avoid the opposition, but we will see if they continue on with that approach, the way they have been making it clear through posts and a few comments on some podcasts that it’s a fight they want.
