Infowars Writer Gunned Down Outside his Home and (of Course) Alex Jones Blames Liberals

Jamie White

The police are saying that he was possibly getting someone breaking in cars and that’s Jones needed to do what he does.

AUSTIN, TX – Jamie White, a writer for the conspiracy theorist media outlet Infowars who has known for using his Twitter account to retweet far right accounts run and the nazi cartoonist Hans Kristian Graebener aka Stonetoss and promotes by neo-fascist Nick Fuentes was shot and killed outside his home allegedly by people burglarizing vehicles, according to the Austin Police Department.

According to police, White, 36, was found Monday night lying on the ground in the parking lot of the Chandelier Apartments where he lived with trauma to his body. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead at 12:19 a.m the Austin Police department said.

“The initial investigation shows that White was shot and killed in the parking lot of the apartment complex in which he lived,” the statement said.  “The suspects then fled the scene. Detectives believe the suspects were possibly burglarizing White’s vehicle, when he interrupted them.”

Alex Jones said on Twitter that White was on his program the Sunday before his death and on the program on Monday, Jones then blamed Democratic office holders from Jose Garza, a Travis County district attorney who he said backed by billionaire investor and philanthropist George Soros, to former President Joe Biden, House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Texas Rep. Al Green, “I lay all of this squarely at the feet of these DAs, and of the Soros crime syndicate, and of the Democratic Party,” Jones said. “They are the ones that administratively cut the police, prosecute the police, and even cases that are hundred percent clear to be lawful, legal activities… You murdered Jamie White. You opened the door. You created the climate. You created the conditions on purpose.”

Austin’s crime have been decreasing, especially in 2024 and White is only the eighth in Austin being investigated this year.

Infowars is still broadcasting after a U.S. bankruptcy judge in Houston, TX rejected the bid of the satirical news site The Onion the outlet at an auction giving Jones a temporary reprieve from the Sandy Hook families seeking to collect any of the $1.3 billion in damages they won after suing Jones for defamation nearly seven years ago after they said he promoted conspiracy theories that the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., never happened and that 26 children and educators weren’t killed prompted his followers to stalk, harass and threaten them for years. A company associated with Jones is trying to outbid the Onion.

It is not known how long White had been at InfoWars, but he has been a prominent writer for them. His Twitter page is mostly retweets from right/neo-fascists. A number of tweets linked where to neo-fascist Nick Fuentes online and he has retweeted a Stonetoss that parodied that White with Donald Trump, JD Vance and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In the wake of the tragic 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA, White attempted to dilute from the response by the public against the neo-Nazis that organized the event and initiated the violence there with a series of tweets that amounted to whataboutisms. “Leftist logic: 1 dead in #Charlottesville = all white men are evil racist Nazis. 13 dead in #Barcelona = NOT ALL MUSLIMS, RACIST!!” one tweet read, with and repeated this refrain. Another where he retweeted an article from the right wing Washington Examiner titled, “Why aren’t communists stigmatized just as much as Confederates and neo-Nazis are?” with him adding, “Good question. This faction is just as extreme! #Charlottesville.” Still tweet using the Charlottesville hashtag defended those who attended the rally that lost their jobs when they returned, him saying, “Personal beliefs should never be grounds for firing. Freedom of speech & thought are bedrocks of this great nation.”

No suspect has been arrested in his killing. His last tweet was ironically a retweet of Twitter owner Elon Musk asking why liberals are so violent.

25 Years of Hate Having Consequences !

2025 is a milestone year and we want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our supporters who have been in the trenches with us for the past 25 years. A lot of groups and people we have dealt with since we started are long gone: Richard Barrett, Matt Hale, the Minutemen and others! But we are still here fighting the good fight, contending with the new generation's version of hate politics. There are trying times ahead, but we believe our reality would be even worse if we did not come together to do this work. If you value the research and reporting that we have done at One People’s Project and Idavox- and you want to see it continue- we hope you will consider helping to keep our mission fired up.
