NJ Club Bounces Three NSBM Bands from Weekend Bill

Folks have had problems with Dingbatz before, so even though these well-known hate bands were bounced, it’s still getting old.

CLIFTON, NJ – Three bands were taken off the bill for a metal show being held this weekend when the public brought their neo-Nazi associations to light.

Nyogthaeblisz, NortherN, and Intolitarian were removed from the “Vengeance FEST III” being held at Dingbatz on Van Houten Road, according to a post on the venue’s Facebook page on Thursday.

“We at Dingbatz deeply apologize for everything going on right now. We were unaware of any of this until yesterday and can assure you that all three bands in question have been cancelled.

We do not support anything that involves any sort of racism, in any form, and will not tolerate it at our establishment.”

Engorge vocalist Kyle Powell, who is promoting the show via his KEP Promotions, denied that there was any validity to claims of hate speech from the bands, pointing out that some members of Nyogthaeblisz are Mexican. The band however, has a history that says otherwise. They appear on an album titled “Satanic Skinhead: Declaration Of Anti-Semetic Terror.” Lyrics on the album from one of their songs are: “Noxious death-gases and enraptured hellfire/Viciously devastating the menial Israelite rats/Lion of Judah envenomed, withers and ceases to be. According to the Washington City Paper. Nyogthaeblisz was kicked off a show in Gaithersburg, MD last year that took place just after the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA. Their label Satanic Skinhead Propaganda, a label that was once ran by Antichrist Kramer of Intolitarian, defended the band saying in a statement, “This is a smear campaign with ad hominem attacks simply because the band is openly ANTI-JEW.” Kramer was and was embarrassed four years ago by the punk band Schizophasia when they unknowingly released the decidedly antifascist band’s record with antifascist themes, who then gave all the proceeds to antifascist groups.

In addition to Gaithersburg, Nyogthaeblisz was also kicked off a show around the same time in Philadelphia, but duped a venue by playing under a different name, as well as a show in New York City.

Nyogthaeblisz were also banned from Bar XIII (Formerly Mojo 13) in Delaware sometime last year, and removed from a 2011 show in Texas that also removed the Clifton, NJ band Disma for its lead singer’s neo-Nazi leanings. They are currently scheduled to play a show in Los Angeles, CA on Nov. 9.

A flyer from around a decade ago promoting a Nazi show where the band Northern – then known as Cold Northern Vengeance – played with infamous Nazi bands Grand Belial’s Key and Absurd.

The band NortherN, which was once called Cold Northern Vengeance, is infuriated that they have been removed from this weekend’s show and as they have when they have been called out in the past, denied their leanings on their Facebook page. “CNV / NortherN has never claimed to be a nazi band, the post reads. “If someone can’t understand the true meaning behind Ancient Pagan symbolism this is not our problem… Our lyrics and art have zero to do with political leanings. The thought police should do some actual research before launching a witch hunt.” However, in the post’s comments they defended playing a show promoted by neo-Nazis with two neo-Nazi bands, Grand Belial’s Key and Absurd, the latter band’s members best known for murdering a 15-year-old boy in 1993 and their singer Hendrik Möbus returning to prison for several more years after being paroled for giving a Nazi salute while on stage in their native Germany where such an act is illegal. “We have played with them because they are legendary,” the post read. Both Cold Northern Vengeance and Nyogthaeblisz are listed in a Stormfront posting of pro-White bands, and they have played in other events featuring hate bands. In 2003, a posting on a discussion board noted that Cold Northern Vengeance member Paul Hamblett of Seabrook, NH was arrested and charged with assault and battery after attacking a Black man he accused of being anti-white after he called him a “bitch ass white boy”.

Dingbatz has been criticized for hosting hate bands in the past, but it is not immediately known if there has been any other such bands that have performed there in recent years.
