Nat’l Policy Institute Comrade Makes $181K Working for the State of Pennsylvania

It’s not like Maura Smith-Mitsky was making it a secret of her neo-Fascist beliefs. What she did for a living however, not so apparent.

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry says they are looking into concerns raised by a recent article that noted how one of its employees has been an open advocate of neo-Fascist politics and ideals via social networks and alongside prominent hatemongers such as Richard Spencer.

According to the Raging Chicken Press, Maura Smith-Mitsky, a Disability Physician Assistant within the DLI whose job it reportedly is to review medical records to determine if a claimant meets the qualifications for a disability, has used her social network platforms to promote a number of neo-Fascist positions and has even attended events such as this year’s American Renaissance Conference. Her tweets under the name @GemLeola shows her saying that she “feared for my sons in this time of crescendo anti-white-male sentiment” and they as White Nationalists are “all concerned about the abuse of European women by migrants,” stating however the “many times the woman or girl was so bombed she needed help to walk when she was picked up.” She has retweeted so-called “alt-right” figures such as Spencer, Mike Cernovich, Jack Posobiec and Paul Ramsey as well as white-nationalist groups and publications like Identity EvropaDefend Evropa and VDare,

“The commonwealth opposes discrimination of all kinds and has strong policies in place to prohibit and prevent discrimination by employees in the delivery of programs and services to the public, a statement from the DLI to Raging Chicken Press read. “We also have policies in place that regulate conduct in the workplace and using workplace equipment. We are looking into the issues raised by your inquiry.”

For her part, Smith-Mitsky has tweeted how she is friends with an 85-year-old Black man that she works with in tweets posted a few hours before this posting.

A press time, there is no action, if there will be any, taken against Smith-Mitsky.
