Needless to say we will have a lot more later today.
“It is always better to have no ideas than false ones; to believe nothing, than to believe what is wrong.”
–Thomas Jefferson Charlottesville resident
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those that have lost their lives Saturday, and we want to extend our well wishes to those that came out to oppose the White Supremacists this past weekend that were injured and are recovering from the events. We are just returning from Charlottesville and will be publishing our take as well as video we shot and articles from friends we have worked with and had seen in the next 24 hours on Idavox. We apologize for our delay.
We do however feel the need to say this to the White supremacists and neo-fascists who have spent the past two years feeling as if they have some license to uproot the society we have all built, the one that created the rights you enjoyed and bastardized this Saturday: This society appreciates those rights so much it feels it is important to defend them even for the most reprehensible among us (that’s you). We also will defend them against those same elements when they use those rights to advance an agenda that prevents the rest of society from enjoying them. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but hate has consequences, and you about to learn – albeit the hard way – exactly what that means!
